The summer program, “Ecology and Environmental Science”, takes place in Panama.
As we expand World ORT’s regional educational networking programs, we are very pleased to announce the launch of the first World ORT Science and Technology Summer School for Latin America.
This two-week summer school brings together around 30 high school students aged 15 – 17 from across Latin America and Spain. Students work collaboratively on field projects and in laboratories. Tuition focuses on building scientific knowledge in Ecology, technical, scientific and statistical skills, and an awareness of local and global environmental and conservation issues. There is a full programme of social and cultural activities, and plenty of opportunities for the students from seven countries to develop their collaborative skills.
Students experience a full program of educational and social, Jewish and local cultural activities. The formal language of the summer school is Spanish.
