This project was set for school children to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the fall of the Nazi regime using any medium to express their feelings. The result was some very strong and touching pieces of work.
The panel received about 90 works from 6 countries and 13 ORT schools in Argentina, India, Morocco, Italy, Uruguay and Israel, written in 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew). These included essays, poems, stories and a play as well as paintings, collages and photographs. A video was submitted by an ORT Argentina graduate and an educational project was prepared by a teacher from Israel.
Two schools from Israel (ORT Hatzor Haglilit and ORT Kiryat Tivon) submitted compiled works of their students prepared after visiting Poland.
