Next Wednesday evening Jewish communities around the world will begin celebrating the Purim holiday.
Purim is one of the happiest days of the Jewish calendar commemorating the narrow escape from destruction of the Jews of the Persian Empire. The day is eagerly anticipated by children of all ages as a day of parties, parades and the sharing of gifts, food and drink.
Jacob Richman, an internet consultant and educational developer in Israel has compiled a list of recommended educational websites for the festival in English, Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, French, Portuguese and German languages.
He has kindly given us permission to share these with you. Click here for the full list.
Wishing you a happy Purim!
